Notes from the Back Cover:
The Chestnut Grove Quartet began at the Chestnut Grove Methodist Church in Holston, Virginia. Initially all four members were part of the church’s God’s Chorus. After the loss of a baritone singer, the group restructured and formed the current quartet. They hosted a gospel broadcast on WBBI in Abingdon, VA from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. each Sunday. Profits from songbook and album sales supported this ministry.
