Description

This is a rare vinyl LP that contains interviews with Chet Atkins on side 4 and Marty Stuart on side 3.
These were conducted by Ralph Emery on "Goody's presents Ralph Emery".  Each side contains 5
segments with advertising between each segment for Goody's headache powder. The ads are done
by Reba McEntire, Richard Petty and others.  Side 4 with Chet is stamped Jun 17, 1991. Side 3 with
Marty is stamped Jun 03, 1991.

Chet's interviews:

segment 1:  Chet relates some stories about his relationship with President Bush

segment 2:  Chet talks about Mark Knopfler and the making of "Neck and Neck".

segment 3:  Chet talks more about "Neck and Neck" and sings, unaccompanied, the
lyrics that Merle Travis had written for "Yakety Axe".

segment 4: Chet relates some stories about Garrison Keillor.

segment 5: Chet talks about his current (at that time) project with Jerry Reed. He discusses
the "fretless" guitar he used and does, unaccompanied, part of "Gibson Girl" lyrics.

Marty Stuart's interviews are mainly about past events in his career. He relates stories
about Nudie suits, Porter Wagoner and some of his hit songs like "Hillbilly Rock".

Both sides play thru fine with no skips. The vinyl plays at least VG+ and better.
There are a few "ticks" that aren't distracting and some typical light vinyl hiss.
It comes in a plain white outer sleeve and a clear plastic inner sleeve.
