Description
An original 1980 Stereo 1st press of Chet Baker - The Touch Of Your Lips on the red Steeplechase label, catalogue no. SCS 1122.
The vinyl has been Degritter cleaned and has a deep lustrous sheen with a couple of hairlines, one on each side, which do not impair the sound. The labels and spindle holes are pristine. I have graded VG+.
Playback is the usual superior listening experience from Steeplechase. Clean, clear and open with fabulous stereo and instrument separation. No issues, no sticking or skipping, the vinyl behaves as it should.
The laminate sleeve is still solid and robust with corner creasing and bending, and some clear tape applied to the top & bottom seams to reinforce,however this is not especially visible. No writing, stains or tears.
The original Steeplechase printed inner sleeve advertising other releases of the day is present but with wear through to the bottom seam. The record has been placed into an anti static sleeve to keep it pristine after cleaning.
A most pleasing copy to be played and enjoyed.
