Description
CTA, CHicago's first LP was a double LP. It was progressive, adventuresome and rockin' all at the same time. This is a import copy of that double LP pressed in England. The LP's are NM and the jacket is VG++ to near mint as well (there are no rips, tears or splits ). There is the ever so slight start of a ring on the totally black jacket which is pert-near impossible to avoid after all these years. tThere are also some brief comments from the audiophile original owner written next to tracks on the inside cover). includes original paper CBS inner sleeves. The music contained within was and still is vibrant, and calling to be listened to. Tracks are: Introduction, Does Anybody Really Know What Time It is, Beginnings, Questions 67 and 68, Listen, Poem 58, Free Form Guitar, Southern California Purples, I'm A Man, Prologue Aug 29 1968, Someday Aug 29 1968, Liberation. The music contained on these LP's is groundbreaking! Some may argue that Al Kooper and Blood Sweat and Tears came first. But, after a listen to not only the originals contained within and the cover tunes (I'm a Man) one will hear the arrangements which clearly have been a trademark for over 40 years.
