Description
Chicken Shack 'OK Ken?' 1968 Album 1st Pressing S7-63209 A1/B1 Very Good Plus. Stan Web was the band leader and Christine Perfect supported on piano and vocals, later to become a lead roll with Fleetwood Mac.

The vinyl has a couple of scuffs and a couple of very light surface scratches,(please see photos) but plays excellently throughout, no noticeable depreciation to the music and virtually no background noise. In terms of condition rating - I am no expert, the record has been cleaned with wet wipes and was played on a 1990's Technics turntable using a new Technics P24 stylus. The overall vinyl condition I would say is very good plus, based on the above and that the vinyl looks clean with slight surface marking and couple of light scratches and plays close to excellent. The centre is clean with virtually no spindle marks (see photos). The record plays excellently throughout with a great depth of sound. An excellent recording. The sleeve has a laminated finish and shows virtually no wear, apart from some shrinkage causing some small creases and I would grade its overall condition as excellent. (See photos) Some may class the overall album as Excellent, that is very difficult call.
I have tried to grade using the Record Collectors Grading, as below: Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
