This LP:
Jerry Zolten & R. Crumb ?– Chimpin' The Blues -vinyl LP
Legendary Cartoonist and 78 rpm collector Robert Crumb is playing and talking old records with his buddy and fellow 78 aficionado Jerry Zolton. Originally done as a radio show, but nicely pressed onto vinyl by another 78 rpm nut, John Heneghan for his East River record label. Mainly Blues and Black String Bands mixed with a Jazz masterpiece by Frenchy's String Band, Gospel by Rev. J.C. Burnett and the fantastic Algerian female singer Cheikha Tetma. A highly enjoyable record!
