Description

ULTRA RARE, NOT TO SAY UNIQUE: a chinese field recording recorded in China around 1901...The metallic container is labelled "Soochow1" and "gut" ("good", in german).

The recording, a "drunken sung" by a young voiced man, is of good quality, with a 6 on a 10 scale, with a continuous background noise; words are perfectly intelligible.

The brown wax cylinder present some light mildewed trace, barely sounding. Also to be noticed, a small hairline crack, safe, of about one ich and half.

The container, of a unique kind, is made of white metal...
