Description

This is a very early Chinese record dated as 1901.It was made by the Columbia Phonograoh Company and has their sticker on the blank reverse side.It has Chinese music and a women singing with another repeating the phrases in the distance. A most fasinating piece of music Drums and gongs plus stringed instruments. It plays very well for its age. Not much surface noise at all. The only damage to the record is where the disc has sort of chiped on the back on the edge. This looks like it was a manufacture fault and the shelac has just thined off underneith in a couple of places.This does not effect the playing of the disc or the strength of it. Buyer pays freight
