*** SAME DAY POSTING AND FREE UPGRADE TO FIRST CLASS POST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS ***
I am selling a large range of vinyl records featuring a very wide variety of musical styles. They are all authentic original pressings, featuring quality music mostly from the 1970's and 1980's. They have all been very well cared for, though I will give an honest appraisal of their condition and will put up plenty of photos of the actual items for sale so you can see exactly what you are bidding on. I always endeavour to highlight anything which I think that I would like to be made aware of before deciding to place a bid, so I do tend to grade critically.
All these records are thoroughly deep cleaned using a professionally constructed wet vacuum system using only the highest purity record cleaning fluid so the vinyl is all very clean, glossy and dust free. Everything listed is, at the very least, test played, though more often than not played right through on a quality deck and I apply extremely high standards to my vinyl and would never sell a record that I would not be perfectly happy to have in my own cherished record collection. In the case of rare or particularly interesting vinyls, I may list records which may fall short in some way of my usual standards, but this would always be clearly highlighted in the descriptions.
I visually inspect every record under very bright light using an inspection lamp.
A note regarding the most important matter of all - the audio - as with all vinyl, even straight out of the cellophane, there can be light crackle or very light 'pops' during the quiet passages. I have listened carefully, at the very least in part, to all these records, so I will highlight in the descriptions any aspects of the audio playback which I consider to be outside the parameters of the very high standards I apply to my own listening. Please be assured that I would never sell 'fried breakfasts', only high quality records.
All records will be supplied to you in a good quality clear outer wallet to protect your sleeve.

Chris Rea - 4 x original vinyl albums - 'Water Sign' from 1983 (matrix A2 / B1), 'On The Beach' from 1986 (A4 / B4), 'The Road To Hell' from 1989 (A1 / B3 'Alsdorf') and 'Auberge' from 1991 (A3 / B1 'Alsdorf') in very good condition.
The vinyl is without exception in lovely unmarked condition, with only the very lightest of wispy inner sleeve hairlines, if any, visible in very bright light. I am listening to 'The Road To Hell' as I type this, currently probably my favourite Chris Rea track, 'Daytona' and the audio is just superb, really crisp and clear and delivering a richness and depth that you do not get with digital.
The sleeves are generally really good, there is an area of damage to the front bottom edge of 'The Road To Hell' where it got stuck to another sleeve (I have another sleeve for this record which I annoyingly can't just seem to find but if I can lay my hands on it in time I'll swap it) and evidence of a removed shop sticker to the top right front of 'Auberge', but barring that these are nice sleeves.
Except for 'Water Sign' these albums also have really nice lyric inner sleeves in excellent condition.
All in all 4 superb albums in very good condition and a great addition to anyone's playing rock vinyl collection. 'Tell Me There's A Heaven' is currently playing - what a hauntingly beautiful way to end this brilliant album, a glorious song.

I will send the records very thoroughly packaged in very good quality cardboard mailers with card stiffeners and with 'signed for' delivery which does cost an extra quid but I'll feel more confident that the records will safely arrive with you that way.
I will be listing lots of other very varied high quality records over the coming days and weeks and I have other listings currently running so please check out my other items for sale and thank you for looking.
