Description:

A Must-Have Piece of Cantopop History: Christopher Wong’s Debut Masterpiece

Up for auction is a highly sought-after 1987 first pressing of Christopher Wong’s () debut studio album, Moody. Released under the prestigious Philips label, this album defined the "scholar-artist" era of 80s Hong Kong pop and remains a cornerstone for any serious vinyl collector.

This specific copy is a complete collector’s set, featuring the elusive original fold-out poster which is rarely found in this condition.

Condition Breakdown:

  • The Vinyl (Media): Excellent condition. The wax retains a deep, mirror-like luster. Under bright light, only very light "paper scuffs" are visible, which do not affect play. No deep scratches or "fingernail" marks.

  • The Sleeve (Jacket): Very Good. Shows light shelf wear and minor creasing at the edges typical of a 30+ year old record. It has been preserved in a vintage "New Town Records" plastic outer sleeve.

  • The Inserts (The Rarity): * Includes the Original Lyric Booklet in crisp condition.

    • Includes the Original Fold-out Poster (Intact, no pinholes, vibrant colors).

Tracklist Highlights:

This album features the timeless hits that launched Christopher Wong’s career, including:
