Description
Offered for auction is an original 1958 release from Chuck Berry. His first LP, in original Mono sound. Chess LP 1426 is a certified rock'n'roll classic. Includes "School Day", "Too Much Monkey Business" and "Brown Eyed Handsome Man". Record jacket is in VG/VG- condition; 3.75" seam split at top right corner, small bend at lower right, 0.25" area missing at top left on spine. The light area that you see at top-center of record cover is light glare, and NOT paper damage. Cover surface actually looks pretty decent. Back cover shows a little wear and yellowing, with a initial and name written neatly in pencil at top right. Record has seen many playings, but is in very good condition. Silver print on black label; spindle marks present, as is a light circular stain from where once was a name sticker on side two. Vinyl shows small scratches, but the record plays well all the way through. For collectors, this is a very acceptable copy until an upgrade can be found.
