THE SIGNATURE WAS OBTAINED IN 1965 AFTER A SHOW AT THE CROYDON FAIRFIELD HALLS. THE ORIGINAL OWNER EXPLAINED TO ME THAT HE WAS WITH HIS RATHER GLAMOUROUS WIFE, AND WHEN CHUCK LEFT THE ARENA HE TOLD HER TO GO AND GET THE AUTOGRAPH. CHUCK HAD A LIKING TO ATTRACTIVE WOMEN AND READILY GAVE UP HIS TIME AND HIS SIGNATURE FOR THE LADY THE SIGNATURE IS AS YOU CAN SEE CLEAR AND BRIGHT AND IN BIRO, AND IT IS OBVIOUS THIS WAS NOT A RUSHED AUTOGRAPH
