DESCRIPTION: This is a first edition but I am not sure of it's a color or black. I purchased it from the record store when it first came out and never opened it, 

Continuing a career of sustained excellence, the fifth full-length album from Circa Survive bursts out of your speakers and infects your heart and mind like few other modern-day recordings. Not only has the production quality increased with each of the band's releases but the variety and maturity of the music still reaches for new heights -- and most of the time achieves that goal this time around.

Few rock bands tour with the ferocity of Circa Survive. They've never forgotten their roots and continue to play in out-of-the-way towns as frequently as hitting the major tour spots. This strategy of winning over new fans one at a time sears through in their songs, simultaneously burning with twin-guitar fury and Anthony Green's emotional vocals. Those who aren't moved by his frequently plaintive wail just aren't listening.

No song sums up the group's sound better than lead single "Schema." It blasts out of the box with a hardcore explosion before quickly settling into a throbbing drum & bass background for Green's vocal gymnastics. It's a piece of music that holds you by the throat and by the heart at the same time, flexing emotional muscles few bands can produce, let alone sustain. It's the sound of a band that knows who they are yet never settles for simply status quo. A rare feat, indeed.

All my records are shipped using bubble wrap and cardboard flats (plus extra shrink wrap over the bubble and cardboard if I think the situation calls for it)—all enclosed in a secure LP box that includes extra cardboard planks secured on the outside off each corner. Shipment is clearly marked "fragile" on both sides.

Each "loose" LP is shipped outside of the cover and packaged within a poly bag. Records are notorious for tearing through these jackets during the shipping process. Thus, many smaller labels ship records outside of the cover in a poly bag to eliminate damage (and ultimately replacement costs).

Upon request, I can open any sealed record and ship it outside of the sleeve but within a poly bag.

Unless damaged through the mail, any return postage must be paid by buyer. Purchases must be returned as delivered.
