Their hearts and lives are reflected in these songs. “I’LL MEET YOU IN THE MORNING’’ suggests a great “homecoming” — a going home. We are strangers and pilgrims. Few words in any language have the power to grip the heart and stir the emotions as the words, “I’m going home.” All that is sacred and holy, all that is tender and lovely, clusters around the word “home. ’ To hear the SILVERTONES sing “I’LL MEET YOU IN THE MORNING’’ and the other sacred selections of this album will stir our hearts, gladden our coun- tenance, enhance our hope, and strengthen our faith until that time comes for that GREAT MORNING MEETING BY THE SIDE OF THE RIVER OF LIFE.
