CLIFF JORDAN and JOHN GILMORE "BLOWING IN FROM CHICAGO" LP - On Blue Note Records, #1549.   Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp from 1957 in outstanding condition!  Original MONO FLAT EDGE pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NEW YORK 23 address on the labels.  The label is Deep Groove on both sides with the "EAR" and RVG etched in the trail-off on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Cliff Jordan, John Gilmore/tenor sax; Horace Silver/piano; Curly Russell/bass; Art Blakey/drums.  The vinyl is in EX++ to NM condition (beautiful gloss)!!  The thick cardboard cover is in excellent shape, displays nicely.  Only occasional edge wear and some slight corner tip wear.  NO writing, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  Address on back cover is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23.  The songs are:  Status Quo; Bo-Till; Blue Lights; Billie's Bounce; Evil Eye; Everywhere.
