Incredibly rare shellac 78rpm 10" Pakistan Columbia pressing of "Where Is My Heart" c/w "Theme For A Dream".

Condition: VG


The record has multiple light scratch marks and abrasion marks all over both sides but no deep scratches or needle gouges, to affect play, quite typical of most 78s which have been stored sans sleeves. It plays very acceptably and sounds good with some background crackle and hiss, but no skipping or heavy distortion. Put simply, it sounds much better than it looks!


The label has some minor tearing and wear around the spindle area. Please see all six photos as they form part of the description.


Please bear in mind this is a shellac record and not vinyl. It plays with a special 78rpm cartridge or metal needle/ stylus, not a micro-groove type!


All in all this is an incredibly rare pressing but please also note this is the LAST ONE I have for sale as it came from a small cache of 78's from Pakistan collected by the owner of a 1930s gramophone who lived in India during the time of the Raj. The whole contents were brought back to the UK in the 1960s. When this one has gone you probably won't spot the opportunity to buy another again, certainly not in the UK!
