Description
Cliff Richard's first ever single in 1958 "Move It/Schoolboy Crush" on its original 10 inch 78rpm format. On the green Columbia label DB.4178 and still in its original brown paper inner sleeve and the record shop's cardboard sleeve. This is before the Shadows and the record is credited as "Cliff Richard and The Drifters" The vinyl is graded fair/good but it is difficult as I do not have the facility to play 78s. Visually it looks quite good for its age - there do not appear to be any scratches. However there are numerous blemishes which look like finger marks from handling the record over the years. The sleeves are both good for their age - there are no splits or tears. These old 78s are sometimes very brittle and tend to snap so all in all this is a pretty good one and could probably be improved with a clean. Frankly I have no idea of its value but I imagine it is quite collectable so there is a low start price and no doubt it will find its level. A great piece of Pop/RocknRoll music history.
