Description
Up for bid is a rare mono LP, "Clifford Brown Memorial," by the Tadd Dameron Orchestra (see pictures for included artists.) This is a mono pressing, released by Prestige (PRLP 7055 on the interior labels, LP 7055 on back of jacket). Interior labels are yellow with the fireworks logo and a deep grove, with the W. 50th St address on either side. LP is a solid VG+, with scuffs and a couple of light scratches on either side. LP plays with minimal surface noise with no skips. A professional clean may remove some of the surface noise. LP retains a nice gloss. Matrix info is as follows: Etched RVG followed by etched PRLP-7020-A / Etched RVG followed by etched PRLP-7020-B. Listen to the tracks from this actual LP, for reference:

Jacket is VG+, with a couple of seam splits. One seam split starts at the top left corner and travels toward the mouth of the jacket about 2 1/2 inches. There is another tiny split on the spine near the top about an inch long. All corners show wear. There is light wear on all seams. There is light ring wear on the front. Front of jacket shows some discoloration near the center closest to the spine (see pictures). Front of the jacket retains bright coloring and a nice gloss. Back of jacket has small spots of discoloration and light writing in pencil in the top left corner (see pictures). Back of jacket has the "West 50th Street, New York 19" address printed at bottom. This does not include original interior paper sleeve, but the LP is placed in a new plastic lined plain white sleeve for extra protection. Don't miss this rare gem! We will pack this securely for safe delivery - this will be a little heavy due to the inserts we put in the LP mailer. LP will be removed from the jacket to prevent seam splits during shipment of package. Domestic delivery will be via USPS media mail including a tracking number.
