Description
This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Clifford Brown “Memorial Album” on the Lexington Ave. labels of Blue Note BLP 1526. The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with an amazing luster; perhaps played once. The rare first issue coated frame Lexington Ave. cover (blue strip on front, not white) is bright and clean throughout; 1” superficial ding at the top left corner; ½” ding at the lower right corner; ¼” ding s at the top right and lower left corners; 1” superficial flaking at the bottom of the spine and at the spine corner of the bottom seam. Personnel include Gigi Gryce, Loui Donaldson, Charlie Rouse, Elmo Hope, and Art Blakey. $500.00
