Description
Drummer logo, blue label with silver text, deep groove. 6 tracks recorded in 1956. This was the last recording by Brown and Roach. The jacket says that this is a "live" recording but there is no aural indication of a "live"audience. Includes Clifford Brown, trumpet; Max Roach, drums; Sonny Rollins, tenor sax; George Morrow, bass; Richie Powell, drums.
Cover: VG 2" split on the bottom edge at the insert edge. Some white discoloration on the cover. This condition is common with vintage EmArcy recordings. Light aging on the back cover, darker along the edges of the jacket.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. A very small, light discoloration spot on Track 2, Side A and a faint, very light rub mark on Track 2, Side B. Neither affects the sound. On Side A there is some groove noise on the last 1 or 2 revolutions on Track 3 at the end of the Side. On Side B, Track 2, has 1 faint click, barely audible, on the last 1 or 2 revolutions. 3 light clicks on Track 3. These are very light and random. 1 or 2 very light clicks on the last revolution on Side B. Fine, collectable condition. Audibly checked.
