Description

Artist: Clyde McPhatter and the Drifters Title: Clyde McPhatter and the Drifters Format: LP Label: Atlantic Number: 8003 Mono/Stereo: Monaural Grade: (cover/record) WE GRADE THE COVER AS NEAR MINT MINUS (see photo). The cover is in excellent condition, with a slight wear on the right cover. All seams in tact. WE GRADE THE RECORD AS STRONG VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD PLUS. Both sides have a few light scattered marks of the stacking and paper insertion variety and a couple of the needle variety, but there light. The vinyl on side 2 there is one scratch that can be felt, but plays through. It’s on the second track and does not click or leave a distinct audible sound. Overall the vinyl has very nice sheen. A generally rare R&B collectable. There is a reasonable reserve on this classic. Notes: We will be listing over the next few months a number of rare rock ‘n roll records and soundtracks with occasional jazz and blues, some being highly prized with a low reserve. More than 2 purchases within a span of one week will receive a 10% discount. Shipping: Records shipped in a well padded, custom mailer with record removed to avoid seam splits. Domestic vinyl orders sent USPS priority mail for $6.50; Media mail $4.00. International orders sent surface or airmail upon request. Guarantee: Satisfaction of description is guaranteed, but there are no refunds on shipping charges. Payment: You may pay with money orders, cash, PayPal, or personal checks (allow 10 days for check to clear). Grading System We grade by the traditional Goldmine standards NM, NM-(equivalent to Excellent, VG++), VG+, VG, VG-, G+, G, F. About Old City Sounds: Old City Sounds has been dealing in collectible records for over 40 years. Our business in north Florida contains thousands of LPs and 45s. While Rock ‘n Roll is our specialty, we feature Rhythm and Blues, Soundtracks, Blues, Jazz and Folk.
