Description

This is the rare and highly collectible Choir Girl 12” vinyl single by Cold Chisel.

 

The single was released in 1979, as a foretaste of 1980’s East album.   Its B-side includes a rare live version of Khe Sanh.

 

Being an audiophile, I can confirm that the A-side is somewhat unique.   On the East album, the end of Choir Girl is hard-edited to the start of Rising Sun.   But on this single, the song comes to a complete stop, with the sound of Don Walker raising his piano’s foot-pedal.   (Yep, you’d have to be pretty obsessive to notice stuff like that!)

 

I’ve owned this 12” since 1990.   The vinyl is Near Mint, and the sleeve Excellent.
