Classic Records 180g audiophile reissue of Coleman Hawkins Encounters Ben Webster (Verve MG VS-6066).
The jacket looks excellent overall. It has a slight seam split on the left side, minor corner wear, and a few minor creases. The jacket was always protected by a poly bag.
The disc is in excellent shape and has only been played 5-6 times on a Well Tempered Classic and a VPI Aries. Phono cartridges used were an Ortofon HMC 30 moving coil cartridge and a Grado Statement Sonata (see photo). The disc has no scratches or any other user damage.
Before each play, the disc was cleaned and vacuumed with a VPI HW-17 record cleaning machine (see photo).
Mastered by Bernie Grundman, one of the best.
This is the earlier 180 gram reissue, not one of the later 200 gram reissues that some audiophiles complain about.
