# 1231 of 2000. I purchased this album as new and it remains sealed. There was a bit of a mishap when the album was shipped here and the cover obtained a fair amount of damage as outlined; a bump on the bottom left corner with a bit of lift within that corner when looking at the cover from behind, a split within the spine in two spots (above and below the words ‘Hawk Flies High’ which extends about ½ inch beyond the title) and finally what look like the start of separation within the top and bottom seam (both less than 1” but visible upon a very close inspection). The cause of this damage is related to the gap within the factory bag that allowed the album to slide around and kaboom the jacket in transit. When I ship the album I will secure the excess sleeve to avoid this problem however, if you want, I can open the album and mail the vinyl outside of the jacket to be 100% certain nothing else will happen to the cover. This having been said I am almost 100% sure that when I ship the album that nothing else will happen. Based on these issues I score this cover a 79 which I would say is VG+ (I would say excellent is more of a B 80-89 however because of the issues I cited I am having a hard time giving the cover a B). The vinyl is assumed to be mint as the album remains sealed. Album is shipped within cardboard inside a Whiplash mailer. If you have any other questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
