Remarks: Recordings under license from CBS Records, Special Products. Includes 6 page booklet and bound in a simulated leather box. This unique collection brings together for the first time twenty-four rare Duke Ellington recordings.  Most of them have never appeared on LP in this country before, several have never been issued anywhere, and others are alternative "takes" that differ from those previously available.  Spanning five decades, they afford a novel perspective on the greatest of all jazz enterprises
