These records come from my personal collection. As a collector they have all been well cared for over the years since I bought them.

 

Time to downsize to make way for other music, I will be listing a number of my treasured compact discs and records ranging from psych/prog to soul to folk to blues and everything in between, over the coming months.

 

If you like this record there is a good chance others I am selling may tickle your fancy, so please feel free to have a look. I hope they find their way into the hands of people who will love them as much as I have over the years.

The 45 tracks excellent. The vinyl is in very good condition with slight scuffing and light scratches that don't affect playback. Sounds great.


The  cover is in good condition with general ringwear and agewear.

Original  Rare and hard to find 1972 Fable Records Australian Pressing. Side 1 FB120 (A) and FB120 (B)

Fable had a long association with VFL (AFL) football, beginning in 1972 when it released a series of official VFL football club songs (adapted from 'standards' like "Yankee Doodle Dandy"). These were widely used at matches and for TV and radio broadcasts, and can still occasionally be heard on Triple J's This Sporting Life during their annual AFL Grand Final calls.

Side 2 has the killer anthem "The Football Song".

Don't let this one slip. Maybe the pies may win the flag this year and you can play it 200 times in a row and wear out the grooves
