DESCRIPTION: Colosseum-  Daughter Of Time LP. 1971 UK pressing with 1Y3/2Y1 matrix, small swirl labels and Vertigo Swirl inner.

CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+. Vinyl is very clean with a dark sheen. A couple of very light hairlines possibly prevent visual EX grade but have no effect on playback. Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. The music sounds clear, clean, vibrant and loud. Sleeve is also in very clean condition. It is firm and square and has light to moderate edge wear, moderate corner wear and light creasing . Spine retains good shape and has only light to moderate wear. Inside of sleeve is very clean with no issues. Swirl inner has only light wear, no splits, fully attached poly, heavy foxing and 2 stamps to one side. Very clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.

GRADING SYSTEM: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
I am just starting to sell off my very extensive record collection, built up over 40 years. I have hundreds of rarities in fantastic condition from many genres including blues, punk, metal, britpop, progressive, kraut, classic and hard rock.
