Description
An original small Vertigo label pressing from 1970. Matrix 1/3. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Vertigo gatefold cover. Also included is the original Vertigo inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely superb condition and has clearly only seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is practically non-existent. All we could detect throughout the entire record was a couple of crackles [literally]. Due to the acoustic nature of this LP only the very best pressings, preserved to the utmost degree, will deliver the perfect rendition. And believe me this is a pressing that would be nigh on impossible to beat.
Cover (Ex) Often found in tatty condition this example belies its age. There is none of the usual wear front and back. Any evidence of wear is consigned to the edges and even this is minor. The spine is in excellent condition with all text readable. The interior is in excellent condition too.The only vaguely detrimental thing is a slight unevenness to the rear of the cover.
Inner (Ex) no splits lightest of ageing.
