Description

These are two Japanese pressings of the albums Ballads and Live at the Village Vanguard by John Coltrane. The Ballads album is a Nippon Columbia Japan pressing from 1976 and the Live at the Village Vanguard is a Toshiba EMI pressing from 1972. 
- Ballads: Front cover has some evidence of rubbing (like ring wear). But other than that, the cover looks really good, strong seams, nice inner gatefold. It includes the insert but not the obi. The record looks awesome EX with very minimal evidence of use. The sound is EX with only rare and non-distracting background noise here and there. 
- Live at the Village Vanguard: The front and back cover looks great, more like EX but the inner gatefold has some stains (check pictures). It includes both the insert and the obi. The record looks in VG+ condition, with some scuffing, but the sound is EX, with only rare and non-distracting background noise here and there.
