Description
Released by Columbia in 1966, cat # DB 8046; this is “Big Blue Diamonds” / “A Lover’s Reward” by Tommy Tate.
This is a green/white demo with the release date of 4 November in the centre of each label. Both labels are clean with light wear to the B-side label.
Visually, both sides are marked with a good assortment of light marks and scuffs, but none is anything more than superficial. However, you would not grade the record as anything more than good.
Playing, the A-side plays really well and would get an excellent grade was it not for two pops in the middle of the track. The B-side plays equally well but without the pops. The record comes in a green Columbia sleeve.
All of these singles come from the same special source – an original 60’s Top Rank DJ who started in the ballrooms and progressed to radio and record production in the 1970’s. The majority of the collection is mint or unplayed! All of these are one-offs, no duplicates so miss them at your peril! For the full story on the collection, please see our “me” page.
Postage and packing for one record will be £1 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are still just £1 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
