Columbia EMI LP SAX 2572 ED1 Brahms No. 3 George Szell VGC.
This record comes from my father in laws personal collection
Born in 1921, he researched and collected the best recordings he could find of classical music on LP from the late 1940s through to the introduction of the cd in the early 1990s, which he collected well into his nineties. We’re only now starting to work through and find new homes for these.
He was meticulous in storing and caring for his records, and I think most have not been removed from their sleeves for decades. He had a separate music room for his recordings and equipment so they were stored away from day to day activity. Unless specifically mentioned the records themselves are immaculate - dust accumulated during the process of photographing them was carefully removed with air before returning to their sleeves. Clear photographs are included of the covers and sleeves.
I have tried to include all relevant information in the photographs and title, but please do ask if you would like extra details or photos added.
All records will be posted extremely well packed in specialist LP packaging
