Description

Bruno Walter was once assistant to Gustav Mahler and had the first hand opportunity witnessing how the master prepares and interprets his own works. Therefore, he's considered one of the greatest authority of Mahler's works. Most of his recordings of Mahler were done in mono era, only the Symphonies #1,2,9, and the Das Lied von der Erde were recorded in stereo. They are not to be missed by any Mahler fan or music lover!

Record condition: NM/EX+/EX+/NM- (couple light spindle trails mark/fingernail scuffs but plays very well)

Cover condition: EX+ (couple small nicks, otherwise NM-), NM- (inner covers)

Note: I'm a collector, not a dealer. The reason I'm selling is to downsize my collection. Every record I offer was hand-picked based on its merits on music, performance, and sonics (not necessarily in that order!). I will list recording credentials such as producer, engineer, venue, date, etc. as I believe as an educated buyer, these will offer crucial info for an unfamiliar record to make a buying judgement.
