Description

The Complete Blue Note Andrew Hill Sessions (1963-66); MOSAIC MQ10-161 10-LP box set, #1244 out of possible 5000, stereo.  With Hill are Joe Henderson, Richard Davis, Roy Haynes [Black Fire] / Davis, Eddie Khan, Haynes [Smokestack] / Bobby Hutcherson, Davis, Elvin Jones [Judgment] / Kenny Dorham, Eric Dolphy, Henderson, Davis, Tony Williams [Point of Departure] / John Gilmore, Hutcherson, Davis, Joe Chambers [Andrew!] / Freddie Hubbard, Henderson, Davis, Chambers [part of One For One] / Hubbard, Gilmore, Cecil McBee, Chambers, Nadi Qamar, Renaud Simmons [Compulsion] / Sam Rivers, Walter Booker, J. All vinyl is m-; box is m- with miniscule wear.  Booklet is vg++ to m- with light creasing.

Grading: My highest grade is m- as I believe there is no perfect record!  From there I approximate the Goldmine rating system always listing flaws to help provide a mental picture.  I use vg++ as a grade in between vg+ and m-.  My grading is guaranteed.

Packaging: I separate the record from the jacket (except box sets) during transit to alleviate seamsplits.  I always use appropriate LP/box set packaging in an effort to ensure that the records arrive in the same condition as they leave my home.
