Regular version is now only available in transparent purple with matte gatefold sleeve with original insert reproduction.
Diehard version includes deluxe outer slipcase plus bonus 10? reproduction of the Diana EP, pressed in quality heavy black vinyl, which was originally released as a 7? back in 1971. Also comes in picture sleeve.

Simply one of the all time great albums in the history of British underground music. At the time when First Utterance was originally released, Comus sounded like nobody else. Today, almost forty years on, they still don’t.
Listening to First Utterance is like entering a whole new strange and scary world. Once you immerse yourself in their dark folky surroundings it’s hard to even imagine wanting to escape. Quite possibly the heaviest record ever recorded with acoustic guitars.
