Description
Up for bid is a rare pressing of the release "Payday" from Cleveland's Confront. This is an original release on the Dark Empire label out of Indiana and is a rare colored vinyl pressing. The 7 inch is on blue-almost-purple, grayish marble vinyl. (I have attempted to capture the actual color of the vinyl in the included pictures, and that is about as clear as possible.) Extensive research has produced no information about this particular pressing. Pictured and included with the set is the original poly bag that the 7 inch was found in, which indicates that it is "SHIT COLOR" and limited to 25 copies. I have no idea if this is a legitimate count on the pressing, however, other items acquired from the same collection as this piece indicate that this could be accurate as it was probably purchased directly from the band or at a show.
The sleeve and insert are both in top shape with minimal amount of wear from storage. The vinyl is in near mint condition with no scuffs or scratches and no spindle wear. This is a great copy of a rare 7 inch.
Bid with confidence. Packaging for shipment is very important to me. Records are shipped in sturdy, cardboard record mailers. Jacket and vinyl will be protected in a polymer bag with the vinyl in a paper sleeve outside of the picture sleeve to ensure there is no damage from shifting during shipment.
