The great musicians of Arthur Pryor's Band play a ragtime tune

entitled "Coon Band Contest" on Victor Monarch 4069.


This is one of  Pryor's many ragtime compositions, and I believe he is

also sitting in on trombone, of which he was of course, the exalted

master!


This single-sided disc was recorded on April 26, 1904.


The record is in E- to V+ condition. The first few grooves are slightly

weak.
