Description
Copland & The LSO –
SHORT SYMPHONY (premiere) &
DANCE SYMPHONY –
Columbia MS 7223 –
2-eye
This is the premiere recording of Copland’s SHORT SYMPHONY, here played with the composer at baton over the London Symphony Orchestra.
Also here, Copland’s DANCE SYMPHONY with the LSO.
Cover is without major fault, just has a short seam split on the bottom seam of about 2 inches (easily repaired). 2-eye platter inside plays near mint. (Slight scuff on side 1 does not sound.)
For other fine records, audiophile CDs, sealed LPs, and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $4 for a single LP shipped within the States; $1 for each additional LP. Internationally, $23.50 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is $16.00; $3 each additional.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
