Corelli Tartini Kreisler Ida Haendel UK HMV ASD 3352
Ida Haendel with Geoffrey Parsons plays Corelli’s “La Folia” as transcribed by Kreisler, Nardini’s “Sonata” as transcribed by Flesch, and Tartini’s “Sonata in G” (“The Devil’s Trill”) also in it’s Fritz Kreisler form. An English pressing on the HMV Label (ASD 3352), the labels are red with white border and grey postage stamp dog. The record is of worn appearance with a fair amount of light surface scuffing, and plays and sounds superb with low-level surface noise. The cover has rubbed with a ring and a number of creases.
