Much thought and prayer has gone into rhe selecting of each song included herein. It is their hope and trust that there will be a message in this album that will cheer your heart if you are sad, or bring you to God if you are lost. This is THE CHANDLER FAMILY’S main goal in singing. Dallas Chandler, husband, has been playing guitar and singing gospel songs since he was ten years old. He and his wife, Lenore, started singing together approximately eight years ago. They organized their own group known as The Gospel Tones. Their twelve year old son, Bryan, joined then in 1968. Bryan plays bass guitar and sings tenor. To complete the family group, Sherry, their eight year old daughter joined them by adding her talents on the snare drums. THE CHANDLER FAMILY is highly accepted at every gospel performance they make. They possess a style and quality that is loved by gospel music fans everywhere. They also show strong talent in the song writing field as well. Five of the beautiful songs in this album were written by them. We feel their sincerity and dedication to gospel music is a strong factor in bringing forth their thoughts in the beautiful songs they write. This album was recorded in Nashville on Equipment that pro- duces sound and quality that made Skyland Records famous for it’s gospel productions, however, no special technical effects were used. We simply captured the sounds of THE CHANDLER FAMILY as they are heard in their travels and performances everywhere. In person or on records, we believe you will truly love THE CHANDLER FAMILY way of gospel singing.
