Description
A collection of 13 radio show transcription discs from the late 1950s featuring a host of classic country music performers. The three series represented are "Country Style, U.S.A" (presented by the U.S. Army Recruiting Service), "Country Hoedown" (presented by the U.S. Navy), and "Country Music Time" (presented by the U.S. Air Force). Each show runs 15 minutes and features original music performed in the studio by the main performer and accompanied by a crack Nashville band, often including the great guitarist Hank Garland. The records are generally VG with some light scuffing and surface scratches, but nothing deep. Here is a list of the shows and performers included:
