Description
For auction is a rare genuine 1st U.K. mono issue of Cream’s great album - DISRAELI GEARS. Reaction 593003.
Original fully laminated first issue mono sleeve in really excellent condition. Great vibrant colour, no tears or writing, edges fully intact and spine fully readable.
Original inner sleeve in VG+ condition.
Record side 1. Visually between VG and VG+, as has some hairlines and scuff marks. The sound quality, however, is easily EX, with none of the marks affecting play. Great clear vibrant sound with only very occasional light crackles and no sticks skips or jumps.
Record side 2. Visually VG+, with some light scuffs and hairlines. Sonically is as good as side 1 - a great enjoyable listen.
Original labels, with the Apple/Windfall miscredits, which were very quickly corrected, are in excellent condition with only minor spindle marks as an issue.
All in all a great example of a classic record in first U.K. mono issue.
