Description

An original Mono 1st press in November '67 with original 'Windfall' publishing. Matrix A1/B1.. A beautifully heavy pressing - these mono's are so sought after because they seem to convey the very essence off what this title is all about...epic audio... The vinyl comes housed in an original E J Day mono cover Laminated front and back. Also included is the original inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In marvellous condition particularly given the vintage. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side, one relatively superficial trail - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity...only a well preserved copy will stands half a chance of a great rendition. And this copy will not disappoint. Plays clean throughout. At worst 3-4 minor ticks in World Of Pain - which otherwise plays really clean. Two slight ticks early in Lament - which plays really clean unlike most copies. A smashing rendition - that is guaranteed to blow you away. Even into those lowkey tracks...the quality clean audio...just continues unabated...cannot fault! One of the best renditions I've witnessed...pretty remarkable.
Cover (Ex) A real pain to find in top class condition, but this example is looking extremely dapper for the vintage. Lovely clean and flat surfaces. The artwork and colour retention is just fantastic wear and nice firm openings. Spine is pretty much fully intact and text fully legible...this is quite unusual on 1st pressings. Excellent rigidity too.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Bag present.
