Description

An original 1st press of Gears for the UK market.. A1/B1. SUPER CHUNKY.. WINDFALL publishing...widely considered to be the 1st variant. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover FULLY laminated back and front. On the rear format indicator is top left...that means it is early. 
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In great condition despite having seen moderate use.  Under close inspection I can only make out a few light marks side 1 - and again on side 2 with a couple of heavier ones too --- which will sound in a couple of spots... A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback on Side 1..  Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Side 2 has more markings....Track 1 side 2 plays with bit of inor crackles and a few ticks....not bad at all...just no better than Vg+. And this is generally the standard on side 2. Perfectly listenable and very enjoyable....just do not expect it to bother the Exc garding on side 2....The odd static crackle and light background in the quietest moments of We're Going Wrong'...nothing unpleasant.... .just not as clean as elsewhere on the LP..still recommended for audio. But not for someone who is fussy. It still rocks like a mutha,,,
Cover (Ex/Ex-) In super condition with clean, and importantly, untarnished surfaces. Very rarely do u see it this pristine. Spine 90% intact - text fully legible...very nice. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
