There are lots of copies of Disraeli Gears on EBay. Even Mono copies turn up reasonably frequently but what we have here is the rarest ever pressing of this classic album. This one doesn't turn up very often at all especially not in this stunning condition.
When it was first pressed the labels incorrectly credited "Windfall Music" and "Apple Music". These lps were withdrawn and replaced by ones that correctly listed "Immediate Music" and "Copyright Control" making these early copies very rare indeed.
The record is graded near mint. It has been played as the spindle marks on the labels attest but it has been superbly kept. There is not a mark on it except for one or two ultra wispy lines in very intense light. It is clean, flat and plays beautifully throughout. There are of course no clicks pops sticks or jumps and only the lightest possible crackle in the run ins that can only be heard with the volume turned up way beyond normal listening levels. I have never seen or heard a better copy.
The labels are in excellent condition. There are noticeable spindle marks but absolutely no other defects.
The cover is also in excellent condition. It is the correct sleeve for this issue with laminate on both front and back. This laminate is ultra shiny and new looking (see photos). Normally there is a little warping on this sleeve: not this one. It is flat and free from warps. There is a little wear to two corners and some very light wear to the opening (which I have shown in the two close up photos).
Not only is this the rarest of all Cream records it is also undoubtedly of final upgrade quality. Happy bidding.
