Description

Cream – Fresh Cream. 1st UK pressing vinyl LP – Reaction 1966 Mono

The very first Cream album, and not just a 1st UK pressing but an early variant of the first pressing.

Reaction label, catalogue number: 593001 on label, 593 001 on sleeve.

VINYL

sound: M- / M

Test play revealed no skips, sticks or clicks. Deep full clean sound. Amazingly, no noise at all on the run-in grooves! Clearly been played only a small number of times. Sound quality throughout is free from any traces of distortion. Lovely!!!

visual: EX / EX+

Some hairlines and one very slight surface scuff on Side 1 track 1 – really only noticeable if you look at the record up to a strong light (see photo). Otherwise in fabulous condition. Has been stored and unplayed for decades. Perfectly flat. Still retains its original sheen.

Matrix / Runout (A-Side Run-out, Stamped): 593001 A//1 1 1 3

Matrix / Runout (B-Side Run-out, Stamped): 593001 B//1 1 1 6

Not seen these really early matrix numbers before – they’re not even listed on Discogs.

EXTREMELY RARE, especially in this condition !!!
