Description
Original UK Polydor 583031 matt red labels & foil sleeve 1968 1st press double stereo Studio & Live LP, with the Variant 3 matrices (see Discogs, NOT Record Collector, another of their classic mistakes!!).Matrix / Runout (Variant 3 A-side runout, stamped): 583031 A//2?420, Matrix / Runout (Variant 3 B-side runout, stamped): 583031 B//1?420, Matrix / Runout (Variant 3 C-side runout, stamped): 583032 A//1?420, Matrix / Runout (Variant 3 D-side runout, stamped): 583032 B//2?420. The foil E.J. Day Group gatefold sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some light corner/edge wear and storage rubbing on the outer cover as this cover always was always fragile. The spine is intact and fully readable, and the plain company inners are in VG+ condition. The records are in visually in EX+ condition, sides 1 & 2 have a couple of very faint hairlines and sides 3 & 4 have a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two very light needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of spindle markings on sides 1 & 2 and only one or two faint markings on sides 3 & 4. The sound reproduction is still EX+, clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall it is a great listen and plays really well! The matrix nos. are; 583031, A//2-420 mother stamper 1-2-11, B//1-420 mother stamper 1-3-15, A//1-420 mother stamper 1-3-, B//2-420 mother stamper 1-1-18. This is one of the very early pressings of the original 1968 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!!
All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund on return of the record, no problems! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!
UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's up to 2KG!
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 4 or 5 lp's due to weight restrictions.
