Original red matt label Polydor stereo issue LP. The unlaminated mono foil cover has a stereo sticker on the rear cover is in very good+ condition. There is some rubbing around the corners & edges, with a few small creases & some ring wear on the outer cover (see pics). The spine is intact and fully readable & the company inners are intact and in very good condition.
The records are in visually excellent condition with little evidence of being played visible under normal light. Under bright light a couple of hairlines and one or two small needle marks are visible on each record, that do not affect play. The labels are clean and bright with evidence of one or two spindle markings on each side (see pics), overall the records still retain their all their original sheen and look great!!
The sound reproduction is still excellent, clear & vibrant throughout, with no loud crackle or hiss & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, a really great listening experience!! The matrix nos. are, 583031, A//2-420 mother stamper 1-2, B//1-420 mother stamper 1-3-6, A//1-420 mother stamper 1-1-1, B//2-420 mother stamper 1-1-2. This is one of the earliest pressings of the original 1968 UK stereo issue of this album!! (the later issues of this LP all have "set no.2612 001 on the rear cover & spine and "record one/two of a two record set" on the glossy red labels, these are early seventies re-issues, not 1st pressings as stated in the Record Collector).
