Description

An original 1st press of COSMO's on UK Liberty. Matrix A1/B1. Stampers 1AT/1MT . Absolutely correct label for 1970. The vinyl is still quite chunky and comes housed in an original cover. We also have the original generic white inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) Very well preserved and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection I can only make out a few slight marks per side - nothing heavy or nasty looking though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations late on side 2. The audio has depth, excellent dynamics, and bags of detail. Mostly a super player. Just a bit off the pace in Grapevine. Still mostly plays great. But I picked out a few crackles here and there. And just a touch of distortion creeping in here and there at around the 9-10 minute mark! [and a few ticks] Nothing unpalatable though. Other than that the whole Lp is a total joy to play. A band at the height of their powers! Priced to go! go!
Cover (Vg+) In very nice condition with a lovely clean shiny front. I can just make out some light indentations in the cover and a crease bottom right. The rear can end up looking pretty warn, but this example is pretty sweet! There's very little edge wear and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
