Up for auction is an excellent copy of Crystal Chandlier - Suicidal Flowers on Cobblestone Records, release #730. I came across an entire collection of late 60's northern soul and garage/psych two years ago - all the 45s from it are in beautiful shape, not scratched or even in need of cleaning beyond a quick wipe with an anti-static record cleaning cloth. Nearly all appear unplayed, with original sleeves, and almost every one - including this record being auctioned - have the same very minor distinct "flaw": the words "Not for sale" on the label were very carefully blacked out with a permanent marker. I suspect the entire collection was a gift or something similar once upon a time from a relative or someone else who worked at a radio station in the early 70's and took home a box of old, unplayed promo records. That's my theory, anyway. I've only played the record once to record the sound clip, which I will have uploaded tomorrow (12/31). Can add more pictures upon request. This record is in fantastic shape and whoever ends up with it will be very, very happy. I have a decent soul/funk record collection, and am selling off a few very rare 45s from it, as well as some other rare psych/garage 45s. Check out my other auctions! Payment is Paypal only.
