Description
This sale is for a 12" single of A Forest / Another Journey by Train by the Cure (FICSX10) Fiction records 1980. This is the longer version of A forest as featured on the Seventeen Seconds album.
- Matrix / Runout (Side A runout, variant 2): FICSX 10 A//1∇ ESTR 1 11 6 STRAWBERRY.
- Matrix / Runout (Side B runout, variant 2): FICSX 10 B//1∇ESTR 1 11 7 STRAWBERRY.
The A side of this disc is VG+ and looks in good shape, the B side however is poor by comparison with quite a few spindle marks and scuffs to the playing surface (see photo), so overall would even out to G++ Both sides of the disc have clean labels which are free from wear.
Surprisingly the playback on both sides is fine with no audible faults or distortions (no dulling of the sound, ticks, jumps or pops), obviously a well pressed 12".
The sleeve has a large 5cm split to the lower edge, and a very faint ring wear edge to the top of the rear but overall looks not too bad (VG).
